Mechanical watch cleaning

First, general watch cleaning tools, general hand tools include watch brushes and watch-specific cleaning fluids. Cleaning with ordinary tools is very simple, the cleaning fluid selected is No. 120 aviation gasoline. Since there is a certain amount of impurities in the gasoline, it is preferable to filter the No. 120 gasoline filter paper to remove impurities. Otherwise, parts that are cleaned with unfiltered gasoline will have a layer of hoarfrost on the surface. The cleaned parts must be blown dry or dried. If the movement parts are more or too dirty, they should be placed in the cylinder for a while. If necessary, use a brush to remove the dirt from the Tissot table or remove the sludge with a willow stick, then clean it in clean gasoline. In short, the parts of the movement should be cleaned and cleaned without negligence.

      Second, use the watch cleaning machine tool to clean. Cleaning parts with a washing machine is highly efficient. The cleaning solution includes a solution of gasoline, alcohol, and trifluoroethylene (F 10 13). Clean the splint with a three-trigger trifluoro solution. The cleaning machine commonly used in repairing watches is a watch-type cleaning machine, as shown in Figure 1-17. It has functions such as speed regulation, time control, working head reversal and lifting. It also has three bottles of cleaning liquid that are covered when the watch is cleaned to prevent evaporation and contamination of the solution. There is also an empty bucket for cleaning the watch. The first bottle contains a less clean solution; the second bottle contains a clean solution; the third bottle is distilled water, which is used for washing and dehydrating. Of course, it can also be arranged according to the process flow. In order to avoid damage to parts due to collision during cleaning, different parts are placed in a copper mesh frame with different shapes. Put these boxes together and use the frame to clean them together, and wash a few watches at a time. It is best to remove the sludge beforehand and then wash it with a washing machine.
